New Horizons holds three major fundraising events each year. We not only look to raise funds at these events, but we wish to also raise awareness about the work our organization does and showcase our mission to measurably enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities. The events we hold provide an opportunity for sponsorships, advertising opportunities and donations. The events include:

  • Annual "Make a Difference" Charity Auction, held each spring
  • Annual Charity Golf Outing, held each fall
  • Annual Awards Ceremony, held each fall

2012 Annual "Make a Difference" Charity Auction

The 22nd Annual "Make a Difference" Charity Auction "must attend" charity gala is set for Friday, May 4, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the Auburn Hills Marriott Pontiac at Centerpoint. Tickets are $75 per person and include dinner and open bar. Click on the Sponsorship-ticket form below for full details.

The 18th Annual Charity Golf Outing is tentatively scheduled to be held on Friday, September 7, 2012. The location is still to be determined. More details will be posted once they are available.

2012 Annual Awards Ceremony & Banquet

The 48th Annual Awards Ceremony & Banquet is tentatively scheduled to be held Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Auburn Hills Marriott Pontiac at Centerpoint. More details will be posted once they are available.
We hold the awards ceremony and banquet each year to recognize community leaders, employers and employees who provide support, opportunities and encouragement to New Horizons and our consumers. In addition, we honor exceptional consumers chosen for their achievements in their quest for employment, personal improvement and independence.
