New Horizons presents three major fundraising events each year as a way
to introduce participants and the general public to the work of our agency
and showcase our mission. Our events are intended as a creative way to
mix raising public awareness with the generation of revenues. These
events and related corporate sponsorship and advertising opportunities
include:
On Friday, April 11, 2008, New Horizon’s will hold their largest
fundraiser, the 18th Annual “Make a Difference” Charity Auction.
The evening will include
dinner, open bar, silent and live auction items, item raffles, door prizes,
and entertainment. The event
will be held at the Pontiac Marriott at Centerpoint to benefit the consumers
of New Horizons. This year’s Charity Golf Outing will be held September 12,
2008. Annually, our golf outing
brings out a record number of participants offering a great networking
opportunity for your company or organization. The golf outing is held at the beautiful Woodfield Golf
and Country Club in Grand Blanc (a Ray Floyd signature golf course). Check back on this page in early
summer for detailed information regarding golf packages and sponsorships. The 44th Annual Awards Ceremony will be held on
September 25, 2008. The evening
honors consumers for their accomplishments and triumphs over their
disabilities in achieving employment, personal improvement, and
independence. Additionally,
employers and volunteers are honored for providing support, opportunities,
and encouragement to New Horizons and the consumers. Check back on this page for more
